The movement of Tropical Wave 26 is predicted to bring strong to intense rainfall to Quintana Roo today, Monday, October 14. The National Weather Service (SMN) has issued a warning that this weather system will interact with humidity from the Gulf of Mexico, impacting other regions in the southeast and east of the country as well. State authorities are urging residents to stay updated on the weather conditions.

Localized heavy rainfall is also forecasted in Campeche, Yucatan, and Quintana Roo. These rains are expected to be accompanied by lightning and wind gusts. There is also a risk of hail and a rise in river and stream levels, which could potentially lead to landslides and flooding in susceptible areas.

For the Yucatan Peninsula, a partly cloudy sky is expected in the morning, with the possibility of fog patches. The afternoon is predicted to be warm to hot, coupled with cloudy skies and intense rainfall.
