Next week, Tulum and Quintana Roo will commence a busy itinerary of visits to various international tourism fairs. The first stop is the Fitur in Madrid, beginning on January 22nd. Carla Andrade, Tulum's Director of Tourism, emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong presence at these events.

She stated that these showcases are crucial for promoting the attractions of their destinations, staying up-to-date, and understanding what tour operators are seeking. This, in turn, helps to attract more visitors to the region. Andrade also noted that the benefits of these fairs often manifest six months to a year later, making this a long-term commitment.

Following the Fitur in Madrid, the next destination is the Tourist Showcase of the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Anato) in Bogota, scheduled for February. In March, they will attend the ITB fair in Berlin. The tour will conclude in April at the Mexico Tourism Fair.

Throughout this tour, Tulum and Quintana Roo, in collaboration with the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ), aim to effectively promote their regions on a global scale.
