Over 40 female artisans from Hondzonot, a municipality in Tulum, have received business management training. This initiative was supported by Nacional Financiera (Nafin) and the Ministry of Welfare of the State government. The training aimed to enhance the women's economic activities and improve their personal finance skills.

The course, titled Business Management and Financial Inclusion for Native Language Speakers, was directed by municipal president Diego Castañón Trejo. Upon completion, the participants received certificates acknowledging their hard work and dedication. Additionally, the artisans received 51 packages of materials for creating textile crafts to support their growth.

At the event, Secretary of Economic Development, Paul Carrillo de Cáceres, announced that, with Nafin's support, represented by León Felipe López Pérez, the goal is to encourage savings and investment. They also aim to provide financial and technical assistance to industrial development, promoting national and regional economic development.

Carrillo expressed gratitude towards the Tulum municipal government for their support. He also announced that similar courses would be held in Chanchén Primero, Francisco Uh May, and Sahcab Mucuy, benefiting over 200 artisans.

Melitón González, the Director of Economic Development of Tulum, echoed these sentiments. He emphasized the importance of reaching out to communities and supporting projects that benefit them. The course aims to equip artisans with the tools and resources needed to improve their business management and financial skills, and carries curricular value.
