In a successful sting operation, Tulum law enforcement apprehended five individuals, including Yuliana 'N', also known as 'La Máster'. She is believed to be the head of a local criminal organization and was a high-priority target due to her criminal activities. The arrest occurred during a routine patrol by officers from the Civil Security Secretariat.
The officers spotted five individuals on the corner of Nacar Avenue and Esmeralda Avenue, who appeared to be exchanging small clear plastic bags filled with a green substance, suspected to be marijuana.
Upon closer inspection, the officers confiscated 389 bags of marijuana and 122 small bags containing solid fragments, believed to be crystal meth. The authorities also seized two cell phones, a gray Motorola and a blue Huawei, along with various personal items. These included a purple Perry Ellis backpack and several waist bags and handbags from various brands.
Yuliana N, also known as 'La Máster', 'La 1', or 'Lorena', was identified as the leader of the group. Her arrest marks a significant blow to the criminal elements causing disruption in Tulum.
