The Tulum Half Marathon is set to take place for the second year in a row on December 1, with the race kicking off at 6 a.m. The event, organized by AsDeporte, is expected to attract national and international attention. In addition to the half marathon, there will be 10 and 5 kilometer races, as well as a 3 kilometer recreational walk.
Tulum's Mayor, Diego Castañón Trejo, has extended an invitation to local and regional runners to participate in the event. He encourages everyone to enjoy the union of sports and nature, thereby promoting sports tourism. The event is inclusive, welcoming wheelchair athletes to participate.
The Tulum Half Marathon is not just a race, but a celebration of the role of sports in health and community integration. It also serves to promote Tulum as a prime destination for both tourism and sports.
