“Tulum Gears Up for Hurricane Season with Enhanced Shelters!”

The Tulum Municipality's Specialized Hydro-Meteorological Risks Operating Committee has started inspections of temporary hurricane shelters. The committee members are ensuring that each site is in good condition and meets all necessary requirements for the upcoming season.

The Atlantic hurricane season officially begins on June 1st. However, due to high temperatures, the committee will start their checks on May 15th, coinciding with the start of the Pacific hurricane season.
