Among the species identified were the Black Spiny-tailed Iguana, the Yucatan Jay, the Brown Pelican, and the Yucatan Squirrel. The challenge also highlighted the presence of threatened species in Mexico, such as the Keel-billed Toucan and the Red Mangrove.
