SHOCKING: Chetumal Residents Face Sexual Abuse Charges

In Chetumal, two individuals, Miguel Alfredo "N" and Isauro Tomás "N," are facing legal proceedings for alleged sexual abuse. The charges relate to separate incidents involving two victims, one adult and one minor, whose identities have been protected.

Earlier this year, Miguel Alfredo "N" reportedly entered a victim's home without permission. It is alleged that he physically overpowered the victim and committed sexual abuse without consent. Following these accusations, an investigation was launched, and evidence was collected. This led to charges being filed against Miguel Alfredo "N," and an arrest warrant was subsequently issued. The warrant was executed by the Investigative Police. During a court hearing, the prosecution presented the evidence to the judge, who decided to proceed with the case. The judge also ordered Miguel Alfredo "N" to be held in preventive detention.

In a separate case, Isauro Tomás "N" is under investigation for alleged sexual abuse of a minor. The initial inquiry suggests that in late September 2022, Isauro Tomás "N" may have abused the victim at a residence in the Andrés Quintana Roo neighborhood, in the Othón P. Blanco municipality. It is believed that Isauro Tomás "N" exploited his close familial relationship with the victim to commit the alleged crime. During a subsequent court hearing, the evidence was evaluated, and the case against Isauro Tomás "N" was initiated. He has been subjected to precautionary measures in accordance with the National Code of Criminal Procedures. These measures prohibit Isauro Tomás "N" from contacting, communicating with, or harassing the victim and witnesses.
