Yesterday, the Mexican Navy, under the direction of the Secretary of the Navy, successfully rescued two individuals near Fundadores beach, Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo. The rescue operation was initiated after a young woman alerted the Navy that her female relative was struggling to get out of the sea.
The trained naval team promptly responded to the call and rushed to the location. Upon arrival, they spotted the individual in danger of drowning. In their mission to protect life at sea, the naval team quickly intervened. They not only assisted the struggling woman but also another individual who was being swept away by the current while trying to help her. Both individuals were safely brought to the shore.
Once on dry land, the rescued individuals were handed over to private paramedical staff. They were later transported to a local hospital for specialized medical evaluation.
