Shocking Discovery: Taxi Drivers Murdered Near Sirenis Hotel

The bodies of two men were discovered early this morning on a remote dirt road within the San Martin ranch. The location is near kilometer 256 of the federal highway, just a short distance from the Sirenis hotel.

Initial reports suggest that the victims were taxi drivers from Tulum. They appear to have been shot to death and their bodies discarded in the surrounding jungle, which borders the municipality.

Both victims had sustained a minimum of five bullet wounds. Their bodies were found next to a burnt-out taxi, suggesting a violent encounter.

Local police were the first to arrive at the scene. They quickly cordoned off the area and are currently awaiting the arrival of investigative personnel and forensic experts to commence their investigation into the incident.
