Cozumel's port remains open to all vessels, providing excellent conditions for maritime navigation and water-based recreational activities. The area continues to experience high temperatures, with a heat index reaching up to 40 degrees Celsius.

The current weather pattern is influenced by a high-pressure system located over the central-northern part of the Atlantic Ocean. This system is driving east and southeast winds towards the region. The easterly trade winds will persist over the Yucatán Peninsula, helping to maintain the high temperatures. A low-pressure trough over the western part of the Yucatán Peninsula may bring some rain, but it is not expected to be significant.

The weather for most of the day is predicted to be clear to partly cloudy, with no significant rainfall expected. Winds will be from the east and southeast, ranging from 18 to 27 kph. Waves in the Yucatán channel are expected to be between 2 to 4 feet. Maximum temperatures will range from 32 to 34°C, with minimum temperatures for tomorrow predicted to be between 26 to 28°C. The sea temperature will range from 28 to 31°C. The heat index could reach up to 40° C between 2 pm and 4 pm.

People are advised to stay informed about the prevailing conditions in the forecast area. Caution is advised due to the high temperatures, heat index, and ultraviolet rays between 10 am and 4 pm. No alerts have been issued for the state of Quintana Roo, and the port remains open for all types of vessels and water activities. However, the maritime community is advised to heed the instructions of the port authority.
