The esteemed Nizuc Hotel in Cancún recently showcased the unveiling of Nautica Residences by Naúma. This innovative project aims to redefine luxury residential living in the region. Not only is this the first Nautica complex globally, but it also introduces the concept of "Hotel Living" to the Mexican Caribbean.
Funded entirely by national capital, with an investment exceeding 5 billion pesos, Nautica Residences demonstrates the confidence of Mexican investors in the local real estate market. The development is set to become a beacon of affordable luxury, with its 400 apartments spread across two towers, designed to the highest standards of comfort and elegance.
The project is currently in its pre-construction phase, with the first tower expected to be completed by summer 2028. Prospective buyers have a variety of pre-sale options, with apartments ranging from 71 m² to 259 m², making it an attractive investment for those seeking high-yielding properties.
Nautica Residences will offer over 50 luxury amenities, including a private beach club in Costa Mujeres and dedicated spaces for wellness and entertainment. The development's strategic location, combined with its architectural design and commitment to environmental sustainability, ensures a high long-term property value.
The target market includes businesswomen, investors, childless couples (DINKs), and retirees, primarily aged between 30 and 65. The project is expected to attract international clients from Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Europe seeking a second home.
Isaac Zonana, President of Naúma Development, highlighted the project's commitment to sustainability and job creation at the event. The development is expected to create around 1,500 direct and indirect jobs during construction, and over 120 direct jobs in its first operational phase.
Quintana Roo's governor, Mara Lezama Espinosa, noted that the launch of Nautica Residences demonstrates confidence in the region, underlining its natural beauty and commitment to sustainable growth.
The project's design, inspired by nautical aesthetics, was created by the renowned firm Niz + Chauvet, along with a specialized team. High-efficiency equipment and durable materials suited to the local climate will be used, including a management system for monitoring and energy efficiency.
The unveiling event, attended by entrepreneurs and investors, also included remarks from the mayor of Benito Juárez, Ana Paty Peralta de la Peña. She praised the project's alignment with sustainability principles and Cancún's orderly growth.
In conclusion, Nautica Residences represents not just an innovative real estate proposition, but also a significant step towards responsible, future-oriented development in Cancún. The blend of luxury, sustainability, and robust national investment promises to positively impact the quality of life of future residents and the economic environment of Quintana Roo.
