Urgent: Hospital Needed in Puerto Aventuras!

Playa del Carmen, Q. Roo.- Carlos Contreras Mejoradas, the leader of the Municipal Health Department in Solidaridad, has highlighted an urgent need for a hospital or medical clinic in the Puerto Aventuras municipality. The current services offered by the city council are unable to meet the increasing demand.

Contreras Mejoradas noted that the municipal health center is providing care to all incoming patients, many of whom are insured by IMSS. He has urged the relevant authorities to consider building a hospital or clinic on the land previously allocated for this purpose.

He also acknowledged the strain on the two doctors at the municipal health center, who are currently attempting to serve 60 people daily. Despite their limitations, they continue to provide medical services to everyone who needs them.
