Among the subdivisions reporting outages are Villamar 2, Mision de las Flores, La Toscana, Santa Fe, Villas Rivero, Villas del Sol and Bosque Real
Power outages registered in several areas of the state, mainly in the Riviera Maya, have affected hundreds of businesses and families, who have expressed their annoyance with the closing of avenues and statements to demand that the authorities fix the faults and in general improve the service.
Residents of Villas del Sol, with stones and sticks and even old appliances, blocked the main access to protest and demand that the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) and local authorities solve the problem of power outages in parts of the city.
Due to the constant blackouts, over several months there have been losses in businesses, damage to household appliances such as refrigerators and air conditioners, as well as large quantities of spoiled food, exposed to temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius.
Among the subdivisions reporting outages are Villamar 2, Mision de las Flores, La Toscana, Santa Fe, Villas Rivero, Villas del Sol, Bosque Real, among others.
The CFE indicated that there is damage to the output of the substation that feeds a large sector of the various subdivisions, and that personnel are working hard to restore the supply in the shortest possible time.
