The team at Wikimedia Mexico recently hosted a training workshop aimed at women from Solidaridad. This was the first event of its kind in the state, and was titled "Editatona: Outstanding Women of Quintana Roo".

The workshop took place at the Art Gallery of the Municipal Palace and was designed to help reduce the gender gap in the digital world, specifically on Wikipedia. The event was free to attend and encouraged women to become content creators, rather than just consumers.

During the workshop, attendees focused on writing biographies for notable women from various fields. This included indigenous leaders, artists, and Mexican activists who have made significant contributions to society.

This initiative is part of an exhibition on 40 outstanding women from Quintana Roo. The goal is to highlight and recognize the work and impact of these women in the state's history and society. Currently, information about these women is not widely available in the digital domain.
