Tragic New Year’s Eve Incident at Tulum Church

In a surprising turn of events, a woman tragically passed away from a heart attack during a New Year's Eve service at a Christian church in the Centro neighborhood of Tulum. The unexpected incident occurred just before the stroke of midnight, leaving the congregation in shock.

The church, located on Polar Oriente Street between Osiris and Beta Sur, was filled with dozens of worshippers at the time. As soon as the woman collapsed, attendees quickly called for emergency services.

Paramedics arrived promptly, but despite their best efforts, they were unable to revive the woman, who was around 60 years old. Witnesses described a scene of alarm and concern as the woman suddenly fell during the service.

Friends of the deceased woman shared that she had attended the service with the intention of beginning the New Year with a message of faith and hope. Following the incident, her body was removed by local authorities.

Family and friends of the woman gathered at the church to mourn their loss amidst prayers and tears. The authorities and the congregation expressed their deep regret over the tragic incident, extending their heartfelt condolences to the woman's family. May she rest in peace.
