A woman's body was found on Saturday evening in a green space near Federal Highway 307, between Tulum and Felipe Carrillo Puerto. Initial reports suggest the victim may be a 19-year-old woman named Yuritzi, but this has yet to be confirmed by authorities. The discovery was made around 7:30 PM, following a call to the local 911 center.

Upon arrival, Municipal Police officers and emergency crews found the woman showing no signs of life. Despite attempts by paramedics to revive her, her injuries were too severe. The woman had multiple wounds, likely from a sharp object, which made it impossible to save her life.

Early reports indicate that the victim had at least ten wounds on various parts of her body, including her chest, neck, abdomen, and right hand. While the identity of the victim as Yuritzi has been suggested, official confirmation from the authorities is still pending.

The Special Prosecutor's Office for Homicides has taken over the case and begun a formal investigation into what appears to be a femicide. Forensic experts from the State Attorney General's Office were on the scene to gather evidence and oversee the removal of the body.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and an official statement providing more details about the case is expected to be released in the coming hours.
