A young motorcyclist was shot in the head in Cancún's El Manantial neighborhood while returning home. The incident took place in the superblock 531 area, just meters from López Portillo Avenue. Despite the rain, the assailants managed to carry out their attack, leaving the victim critically wounded.

Local residents quickly alerted emergency services about the attempted murder. Red Cross paramedics arrived at the scene promptly, providing first aid before rushing the victim to the General Hospital. The young man is currently battling for his life due to the severity of his injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported that two men on a motorcycle were responsible for the attack. They allegedly blocked the victim's path as he arrived home on his Italika motorcycle and shot him in the face. The assailants fled the scene immediately after the attack.

By the time authorities arrived, the perpetrators had vanished. Police officers and detectives interviewed the victim's relatives at the scene. The motive for the attack remains unclear, and an investigation is currently underway.
