Yucatan Gov and Security Chief Enhance Strategic Collaboration

In a bid to bolster strategic cooperation between Yucatan and the Federation in public security matters, Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena held a meeting with Omar García Harfuch, the Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection, in Mexico City. The discussion focused on enhancing strategic collaboration, refining crime prevention strategies, and the pledge to uphold and boost peace and security in Yucatan through close coordination with federal authorities.

During this working session, they reviewed the protocols and preventative measures that have proven successful in the state. García Harfuch underscored the significance of ongoing collaboration with Yucatan, a state recognized for its effective implementation of public security policies. Governor Díaz Mena reiterated his administration's commitment to preserving and enhancing peace and security in the region, through coordination with federal authorities and the fortification of state security forces' capabilities.
