Governor Mauricio Vila recently visited the construction site of the Multimodal Transfer Center (Cetram) in Cancún, which is situated on 55th Street with 18th and the Peripheral Ring. The ongoing construction includes various elements such as masonry work, columns, and beams.

This new center aims to enhance connectivity by linking the capital with surrounding routes. It is designed to cater to the diverse needs of the population. The project, which will cost more than 84.3 million pesos, promises to offer a host of features and services.

The center will be universally accessible and will include an access plaza equipped with a bikeport. It will also have dedicated areas for boarding and alighting, administrative offices, and a range of other facilities.

Furthermore, plans are in place for the construction of five additional Cetrams in Mérida. This initiative is expected to significantly improve connectivity and public transport options in the region.
